The website http://zenkandokuha.com which is available for purchasing full set manga has posted the annual sales volume of manga based on different age groups. The data covers the previous year from April.1 2011 to March.31 2012. This statistic revealed the customer purchasing tendencies of different age groups. For instance, the teenagers are inclined to buy Shounen manga while the older buy more Seinen manga. Some early hot manga such as Bukkomi no Taku (NO.4), Saint Seiya (NO.7) and Dragon Ball (NO.9 male) still rank high on the list of fans from 30 to 40.

The most surprising fact is that One Piece is the top manga among all ages and both genders. And Slam Dunk, another manga from Weekly Shounen Jump, is also in the top 10 for all customers. It’s still hot even if the manga was completed 16 years ago.
