Rurouni Kenshin's "Chapter Zero" to Launch in Weekly Shounen Jump

The June issue of Shueisha’s Jump Square magazine (published on May 2) has begun the serialization of Rurouni Kenshin with the new title “Rurouni Kenshin -Cinema Version-”.

The new series focuses on battles fought with characters from the upcoming live-action movie. The movie will be out on August 25.

Besides, Shueisha’s Weekly Shounen Jump magazine will run a sequel to Rurouni Kenshin in its August issue. Titled with “Rurouni Kenshin -Meiji Kenkaku Romantan- Chapter Zero”, it will reveal why Kenshin decided to stay at the Kamiya dojo.

Both new mangas are made by Watsuki Nobuhiro, the author of the original Rurouni Kenshin manga.
